85 people enjoyed the turkeys donated by Eric and Sue Boulton and the large and delicious variety of main courses and desserts brought by the guests. Once again, our annual Thanksgiving Dinner was a great success!
The $600.00 raised by the Auction of Goods and Services and 50/50 draw will be given to our local Island Charities.
Many thanks to all the volunteers who did the set up and take down, cooked the turkeys, worked in the kitchen and contributed baking and items and services for the auction. Donations at the door and of the bake sale which are used to support GES’s programmes and pay the hall rental amounted to $775.00.
