Wow! Song of Imbolc Sacred Sound Journey attracted a very full house to the Net Loft as carol weaver and Allannah Dow led us through a spiritual journey to honour the return of Spring and warming light.
We listened, we sang and we meditated in silence.
A large flock of gulls felt Heaven-sent and drawn to the music during a moving rendition of the song, Bring To Me Your Light (written by Pat Mayberry). Reflecting on this experience, weaver said it felt like “such a holy, sacred affirmation,” as they swirled overhead, and disappeared as the music ended.
Saint Brigid must have been smiling down on us.
