Soup and the Spirit: Circle of Trust

November 22, 2013

in 2013-2014, Discussion Groups

For six weeks this fall, a group of about eight participated in a weekly Soup and the Spirit – Circle of Trust.  Ably led and hosted by Shelagh Huston, we explored the thought provoking works of Palmer Parker (A Hidden Wholeness: the Journey Toward an Undivided Life) through music, readings, poetry and quiet reflection.

Starting each session by sharing a delicious soup, we were nourished in body and soul, sharing our thoughts, beliefs, questions and experiences in a sacred atmosphere of welcoming acceptance. It was both nurturing and stimulating; a rich communion.

Our next Soup and the Spirit: Jesus and Buddha, Paths to Awakening begins on Jan 7th.  Let us know if you would like to join us.
