10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Netloft
The 21 Tara Sand Mandala will begin on June 11 at the Net Loft. Lama Losang will continue to create every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and encourages everyone to come and watch, ask questions or simply sit quietly.
On Friday, June 16th, with the completion of the mandala the retreat will begin after dinner. The retreat will focus on the healing practices of the beloved female deity, Tara, who is “the one who liberates”. She is the female manifestation of enlightenment. The sand mandala will be central to our understanding of each Tara with a different colour, energy and attribute.
Lama Losang invites all levels of experience. This is a rare and unique opportunity to witness and absorb the timeless art/science which has practical and positive applications to our life in the here and now.
Suggested donation for the retreat is $280, with a sliding scale. There will be volunteer opportunities. Please know we would like to give everyone a chance to attend.
Meals are available for an extra cost.
If you’d like to share the prepared meals at the Lodge, please book and pay for for your meals in advance. This is to help Brenda know how much to prepare. Thanks.
You are also welcome to join us with your own lunch or dinner.
Meanwhile, here’s a video featuring Lama Losang speaking about Tibetian Sand Mandalas.
