Rollo Centre
Visit and talk by L’Arche Comox valley on afternoon of Feb.7, 2015 at the Rollo Centre.
L’Arche is a worldwide federation of homes and communities for adults with special needs who live together with their assistants. It is a vision inspired by Canadian Jean Vanier who started the first small community in France in the 1960s, and is where he still lives today. He has authored several books about his personal experiences, and spiritual and human learning, from what was an experiment. We shall see a film about L’Arche and hear first-hand about the Comox Valley community from some of its members.
