Gabriola once again welcomes the Venerable Lama Losang Samten, who is returning to share the healing power of Tara.

Lama Losang Samten has been sharing teachings of loving kindness, joy, compassion, and the path to enlightenment for almost 30 years. After living and studying for over 20 years in the Namgyal Monastery (the Monastery of His Holiness the Dalai Lama), where he became a Master of Ritual Dance and Sand Mandalas, and served as the Personal Attendant to His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama, Lama Losang moved to the US in 1988. He is the Spiritual Director of several Buddhist centers in North America and holds the highest Tibetan degree in the west.

The Gabriola Ecumenical Society offers sliding-scale event registration, with an option to register as well for the bountiful Friday welcome dinner (5 – 6 pm)  before the 6:30 – 8 pm opening session,  as well as lunch and dinner on Saturday, and/or the farewell lunch Sunday, all served at the magnificent Net Loft seaside gardens.

All are welcome, from any experience level and faith, to participate and practice with this truly special teacher.  Please join us for a genuinely uplifting experience in community. Your heart will thank you!
