‘Spirit flows freely’ through the simple yet powerful exploration of vocal sounding and chanting. When we sound and chant we create a circuit of attention through our breathing, voicing, and focused listening. This circuit of attention quiets the mind – allowing deeper presence and awareness.
Leah Hokanson leads us on a two part journey of vocal exploration.
Part 1: Workshop
Saturday, March 30th, 10-12, Net Loft
Come explore and experience – in a circle of community – the power of your own voice as a portal to embodied presence through sounding and chanting. All are welcome, especially if you think you “can’t sing.”
Suggested Donation: $20
Part 2: A Community Chanting
Sunday, March 31st, 9am, Net Loft
Join us on Sunday as we enter into presence together through chanting and sounding, combined with poetry and wisdom texts that explore music and sound as metaphor for ‘Spirit flows freely.’
Suggested Donation: $10
